What is AutoMargin?
AutoMargin is a dealer-management tool built for South African used-vehicle dealerships. It tracks every cost against every unit on your floor — recon, prep, parts, valets, comebacks — and gives you live profit per stock number.
How does the WhatsApp integration work?
Send a message, photo of a receipt, or a voice note to your dealership's AutoMargin number. Our AI agent matches the cost to the right stock unit, files it against the right cost category, and confirms back to you. No app to install — works from any phone with WhatsApp.
How much does it cost?
Basic is R299,00/month — full platform, unlimited units, up to 3 users. Pro is R499,00/month — adds the WhatsApp AI agent and 1 000 messages per month. Both excl. VAT, billed monthly in ZAR via Paystack.
What happens after the free trial?
On day 30, your account becomes read-only until you subscribe. Your data, units, photos and team setup all stay intact — you just can't add new entries until you pick Basic or Pro and add a card. You can also subscribe any time during the trial if you want to skip the read-only period.
Can I switch from Basic to Pro mid-month?
Yes, and the upgrade is instant. You'll be charged a pro-rated catch-up amount for the days remaining in your billing cycle, then your new tier kicks in normally next month.
What if my WhatsApp payment fails?
We retry the card automatically over 3 days. After day 3 we'll suspend the account and email you a reactivation link — one click charges the card again.
Who can see purchase prices and supplier costs?
Only the owner by default. Sales staff and support users see the unit and asking price but not what you paid. You can flip this per-user in settings if you want to share.
Do I own my data?
Yes. Export everything (units, costs, sales, invoices) as CSV any time from the admin panel. Cancel and we'll keep your data for 30 days, then permanently delete on request.
Is the WhatsApp number ICASA-compliant?
Yes — we use the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API via a registered SA aggregator. Your dealership gets a dedicated number, not a shared one.
